We agreed on a price and sold within a month at our price for all cash and without any contingencies.
We had lived in the house for seven years. It needed little work other than interior paint throughout and refinishing of the main and bedroom floors. We moved out before it was listed so this wasn’t a logistical problem. Jennifer went beyond the call of duty to supervise the contractors and arrange staging in our absence. We did not want unsupervised broker visits and did not want a lockbox, so Jennifer personally attended every showing. She also organized and attended the closing so that we did not have to travel back to New Hope from our new home in New York.
